I think it´s really nice finally being able to see the picture of people we have been
"talking" with for so long.

I recall that Problem Mario had, what was that poster's name like "KingRat". You run that risk when you put photos out there on the Web for the Whole World to see, I post at a large ABC News Forum and some posters there did the same and a smiliar(but worse) thing happened to a Woman who put up her recent photo. Almost (maybe by now she is divorced) got the Woman divorced at the time as the photo traveled around some pretty seedy websites, adobe photocropped btw. Not a nice thing. Then here you ahve to wonder about the sequester factor as many elements look at this website and not all with honorable intentions,,,

kat, I got my shirt from San Andres from a sporting goods store. We were strolling along the sidewalk and from the corner of my eye, the colours shone through the window and caught my attention. That was the shirt I've been looking for all throughout my time in Bogota. I drove my friend mad b/c nothing caught my attention the way this one did. I stormed thru the doors nearly smacking an elderly down, dashed through the aisles, ran over some kids and pointed straight up at the shirt (it was plastered high on the wall). The lady said it was the only one and it wasn't for sale. Oh how I pleaded with her...on my knees with my broken Spanish and she fell in love with...my Spanish of course. Finally, she caved and sold it to me for an equiv. of $8CAD! I was willing to pay millions (in pesos of course).

The best part of the shirt though...it has my favourite number on the back! #10!!! What were the chances, eh? It was meant to be...the shirt, the number and me...in San Andres...of all places!

Ah thank u kat! that's sweet of you to say. I'm not photogenic that's why most of my pics (only 3,459 photos of my trip) are silly....like the one where I'm swallowing a bony fish. Did you see that one? Hmmm...I wonder if that's the reason why the others resort to "alternative" photos, too :-o

I think my new name will come to me...eventually. I'll "earn" it...it's more sentimental this way. (And I won't acquire it but taking off my shirt or wetting it...!)

steve podborski was my hero when I was younger, he was a canadian downhill skier who was the first to win the world downhill championship.

So it only means something to the few people who have ever heard of him.

I really was curious though kat, do you know of any very successful female colombian athletes? I would have thought there should be lots, but I can't think of any?

Steve Podborski....I knew it! I thought of him when I saw your name. He's on the 2010 committee. He'll do good things for sure!

My fav soccer players are Maradona and Pele. "Futbolera" sounds cool even though soccer is not my fav sport. I'm just good at kicking others on the shins and tripping them...this way I can get flagged off and I don't have to run anymore!
