Pics of the Hail Storm?

Anybody have some good photos of yesterdays freaky hail storm & flooding to share? I was caught without a camera in San Andresito. It was really fun seeing the reaction of all the people (especially the kids!). Being from the US Midwest it was a treat for me as well to see the "white stuff" on the ground and the many impromtu Snowmen and sculptures. It was Ironic because my friend and I were having lunch near Javeriana U. and we commented on what a nice day it was, we also joked that all we had to do was wait 30 minutes and the weather would be different in Bogota...little did we know what was in store .

Gator says on Nov 4, 2007, 07:00:

Bogotá usually gets hailstorms (granizo) through out the year but NOTHING like this. On Cl 26 and Av Caracas there were about a 100 cars trapped and the hail on some was half way up the doors and almost waist deep. The heavy rain that was also part of this, did not help. In some places the water was chest high. There were at least at 20 cases of hypothermia reported, in Bogotá for God's. Started about 2 in the afternoon. There was a big concert scheduled in Parque Símon Bolivar that they had to cancel and several persons there had to have emergency treatment for head injuries.

We had some minor flooding in the garage but no real damage. Pretty well city wide with building roofs damages and a LOT of cars will be a total loss. Don's know if this is correct but they were reports of the temp. hitting below 0 C.(32 degrees)

Mrs. Gator, the survivor that she is, dashed out braving the elements, and bought a new pair of boots. ¡Viva Colombianas!

When I first heard someone tell me about the hailstorm in Bogota, I thought "Big deal, it sometimes hails in Bogota". Then I turned on Caracol and was promptly shocked as shit. I've seen a lot of bad weather in Bogota including the occasional freeze, but never anything like this.

Yes Robi 666, i´m so lucky to live here anyway.... I love Bogotá, its extreme weather but is a nice city, lot of job opportunities and a good place to raise your kids.... remember beauty depends on the eye of the viewer.

TG, this is the video from behind the car dealer, the weird thing is that it was a sunny day...and suddenly appeared.
