Photos of the Tiger Paw Hostel in Medellin

Hello,

I just wanted to give a quick update on the Tiger Paw. It's coming along great and we on schedule for the May 1st opening. The roof top deck has been completed and we have a private room completed for pictures. The complete inside of the building has been remodeled. We have 8 brand new bathrooms and all bedrooms are newly tiled. We are also the closest hostel to Parque Lleras. The place is going to be beautiful!

Here are pictures of a private bedroom and views from the roof top deck.

Come see us at www.tigerpawhostel.com.

looks nice, good luck brian. though has to be said you are no longer the closest hostel to Parque Lleras, about two weeks ago a german i think opened a hostel on Calle 10 just above Parque Lleras, Casa Mayde or something its called.

Brian, don't forget me.... I still need a room with two beds for Jul. 29 - Aug. 13.
Thanks bro....
Let me know how to get you a deposit.

Terry,

Were you/have you been on the LP TT for ages? Your name seems very familiar..

bogotabrian says on Apr 9, 2008, 19:22:

Thanks Tejasmarcos, Gorgonbob and Cheers Terry!

Gorgonbob, I think I have seen Casa Mayde and we are about the same distance. I'll have to measure and change it if I need to so I am not false advertising! =)

NYB, don't worry I haven't forgotten about you. We are setting up the online booking system and it should be up in a couple of days. As for now, I'll put in on my spreadsheet to reserve the room until the software is up. You'll want the Semi-private room in the booking software on hostels.com. I don't think you'll be disappointed, we've worked really hard to pay close attention to details.

Thanks bro! I wish I could be there sooner, but duty calls! Good Luck with the opening...
Maybe you'll work out all the kinks by the time I get down..........

When do you expect your web site to be complete. Nice to see more pictures. What little I have seen looks good.

Good Luck,

Hey Brian

Am looking for a place to stay in Medellin for a few nights during the mid to end of June ... there seems to be a slew of new hostels in Med., can you PM contact me with prices for Tiger Paw's private room (1 person) and cost of single bed in dorm as well?

The web info is not all complete so i cant check prices there but it looks good so far!

Best of Luck!

RUV and Island Girl, first thanks. We have worked extremely hard on this project. With all the hostels in Medellin, we have tried really hard to set ourselves apart with the little details. All these little details have kept us busy and the costs have been going up, but in the end I think it will be worth it. I wish I had better pictures, the ones I have shown do not do it justice at all. I will have some additional ones up soon and our web designer is working on the website this weekend too.

bogotabrian says on Apr 11, 2008, 07:38:

Oh I forgot, thank you too Kat! =) Bogota is in the plans!

morphus says on Apr 11, 2008, 07:41:

Where are the photos?

bogotabrian says on Apr 12, 2008, 07:35:

The photos are at the top of this thread and I have some more of the bathrooms but I am going to wait until Wednesday because we have extra things being installed. The same goes for the kitchen. There is over 250 meters of new beautiful tile everywhere in the hostel and many extras. I'll have some really nice photos next week and even better photos the week after.
