Mario says on Feb 3, 2008, 10:17: These are very, very nice photos. I have one suggestion Atrevido. Put your lens at different heights other than standing, eye-level, and you will begin to see more artistic framing opportunities that will add visual impact. The top three shots would have benefited greatly from a low, low camera angle - this is always a good idea with photographing children to get down at their level so they look over to you or even down at you, instead of up at you.

Atrevido says on Feb 3, 2008, 16:47: Mario thanks for the critique. Yes I have photoshop but they´re just snapshots and I don´t feel they merit the effort. Well now that I look again I´ll take that knee out. Also don´t let the sun hit your lens (first shot). Quite right about the angle. Always makes children´s heads huge.

slguy says on Feb 3, 2008, 17:59: I think they're ALL fantastic - w/ or w/out knees! I kinda like small "imperfections" like the knee/shovel. Before you throw me out, make sure I pay my bar tab |
