Phone plan..canada/colombia...20 bucks a month ...1000 min

For fellow canadians out there ,this is just to let you know of some better prices for long distance calling.I was using telus and was paying 14 cents a min to call colombia when i recieved a call from primus. They offered a better rate of 9 cents a minite. As soon as telus found out i was switching my long distance to primus they called offering to lower the rate they were charging. They offered a plan of 1000 min for 20 bucks a month long distance calling..(2 cents a min anytime calling)...but thats all long distance so if im calling long distance in canada its eating up the minites.I don,t make a lot of calls so this plan is good for my wife to keep in touch with family in colombia. Iif you are using telus right now and paying more id suggest calling primus and switching...if you do telus will phone you in about a week trying to get you back and offer a better deal.

Well, can you use Yahoo! or Microsoft Live to talk to people in Colombia? That's how I do it, but then again, all my friends over there are in Bogota and they all have computers which it may not be the case for you.

I actually decided to pay $5.00 a month for an ATT plan, and when I call there, I will pay just $0.17 USD a minute, and I am happy with that rate.

Skype is also free PC - PC, if your relatives in Colombia have a computer.
