Download free PBH travel guide (PDF, 1 MB).

You can now buy the poorbuthappy travel guide to Colombia online as a real paperback that will be mailed to you! Very cool :) Buy the PBH guide here as a paperback. It's the first edition, it'll be a collector's item soon ;)

Remember that this is an experiment, and the first edition ever. It lacks a lot of detail, and there's a lot to be improved, but I'm very impressed that we got this much up to date travel information together in just 2 months.

Drama
British cop shows are crap. They're more like politically correct soap operas than gritty dramas. Instead of fitting up drug dealers and throwing gang members off of high buildings, the Thin Blue Line sit around discussing their favourite Diversity Training course and what sort of wallpaper they'd like to decorate the cells with.

But as for US cop shows- well that's what I call coppering! If American law enforcement is anything like 'The Wire' or the 'The Shield', I'm surprised you've got any crime at all.

Published: May 3, 2007

TAMPA - Getting a passport can be a trip.

Because of rule changes requiring passports for travelers returning by air from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda, the time it takes to get a passport has grown.

The wait to get a passport used to be four to six weeks. Now, it's more like 10 to 12 weeks, said Bridget Robertson, spokeswoman for the Postal Service in Tampa.

How would you describe your passion for Colombia?
I have read many posts on this site for a couple of years. I enjoy reading all of your experiences. Many I can relate to. For me, Colombia has felt like home from the minute I landed and left the airport a couple of years ago. It is my home. Maybe this subject has been brought up before but what would you tell a newcomer what Colombia means to you? What keeps bringing you back to Colombia? What is it that you find here that you do not find anywhere else?

We're number five!
According to the US State Department, Colombia is now number five in an international ranking for most kidnappings in 2006 -- behind Nepal, Iraq, India and the Congo.

* Repub Presidental Candidate Rudy Ghouliani Law Firm Represents Hugo Chavez
Locked. It's a stretch to say this is related to Colombia. - Moderators
==================================

No matter how hard Rudy attempts to dodge this one, it always comes back to bite him! Why, if he detests Chavez as much as he claims to, does his Law Firm Continue to represent Chavez? Fidel castro next if the Money is right??

Is it safe to get drunk in a Colombia bar? ( Burrio Bait )

I heard from some dude, that if your a "gringo"
and happen to get drunk in a Colombia bar,
many times they will take you to the back
room and play "pin the tail on the burrio".
Is this true? As I may end up throwing away
my passport and stay in the USA,as I dont want

Dog Toys
Can anyone tell me where in Colombia I can purchase a dog toy thats named Kong? It's an indestructable toy that my puppy can chew on. My novia has asked a lot of pet stores in Cali about the said toy. She says they look at her like she's nuts. I took one down last time I went. But the older dog will not let the new puppy play with his toy. Any help would be great. Thanks.
