Peso

Anybody know why the peso is taking such a dive? Any hopes on a turn around and if so when. or is this just a yearly cycle?

Lowell Peso went down with other emerging market (and some developed market) currencies, it is now gaining strength again:

As to where it will go from here, there are a few thread on that with differant peoples views, you will have to decide from them and other information what you think is correct.

Better yet, don't waste time trying to figure out the future. Usually the future pretty much takes care of itself.

My big concern right now is lunch.

Pereira info please After a couple of trips to Pereira I have choosen this city to try to get my spanish up to a level where I can converse freely .
Anybody have a opinion on or experience of how long this will take,I know this is subjective.
At the moment I am a good intermediate with writing and speaking but my comprehension is awful.
The longest I can stay in Colombia is 6 months and I hope this will be sufficient.
So if anyone has a name of a good school there ...digame por favor.
Also I will have around $ 400 per week to pay for apartment ,food ,etc .....am I going to struggle or what ?
