Captain.. if your GF if fr Peira.. just asked her to give you three location.. there are LOTS of hotel near the center.. parque de boliver in pereria.. i think the one i stayed at was pretty cheap, 40,000 peso/night.. two years ago.. but it wasnt the best..

you can also buy a lonely planet colombia and they will give you a few options. but best is to simply have your gf check for you. btw, it's not that difficult to ARRIVE there then go around to check.

If someone has actually stayed in an "inexpensive" motel and would reccommend it, I'd tell her and let her check it out. Gotta keep that open mind, ya know...
Yeah, 2 years we've been talking and webcamming. I went to Mexico last summer with my friends so I couldn't go to Colombia. I had to wait until this summer. I'm really stoked about the trip.
