Paying for a visa (Dollars or Pesos)

I am going to the ministerio de ER to get my spousal visa to live in Colombia.

I think I read somewhere that I pay the fee in Pesos but I noticed on the website that the fees are are in Dollars. So which do I pay with? Can I chose whichever I want?

adrienne price is in dollars but you have to pay in pesos....they convert it to pesos every day so the price for your visa changes every day

It's off topic but just in case someone was wondering.

you can pay in dollars at the US embassy in Colombia. I did. there are some fees that can be paid with a credit/debit card, BUT NOT ALL. find out before deciding how to pay.
