Patricia's Neighborhood

This is a set of images I took in the neighborhood where my wife grew up, Chapinero, Bogota. I found it to be a beautiful place. Lots of color and character and wanted to share it with you. Enjoy.

that was good; thanks, you do a good job putting those together.
And, oh well. I was jus trying to get the page so you could scan to the next page at the bottom, but it didn't help; might need some help from the moderators.

The tags for the video must be a little screwy. I can only see the left third of the video and as others have mentioned, it is freaking out the homepage.

However, I spent most of my summers growing up in and around Chapinero. My grandmother used to live on Cra 3 above Chapinero. I have strolled those streets since I was very little. In fact, I was just walking around there in late september. My abuelita moved farther north, but there is a little park on calle 59 and Cra 7. On the west side of that park is a little bakery with some awesome pan de yucas. I had a chance to eat some and show my novia the neighborhood. Also, my brother got married at that church(Lourdes).

no stobers, the problem was the way the post 'fell down' with a big empty space, below the video, you could not (and, still can't) get to the bottom of the page to click-on 'page no 1, 2,3,' etc, or 'next page' or 'previous page', and so on. A few more threads and the problem will be gone, at least on the 'home' or front page. no big deal.

saw your video now very nice!

The problem is only with windows but with firefox I was able to see it. IE places the youtube embedding right next to the google ads on the top of the page and there is not enough room there for it so you get to see only the left half.

Cheers,
Desi
