Hi does anyone know if my wife needs to change her passport?? She still has the one from when she was single, she hasn't changed any documents yet to her new name. Her interview is on 2/5/07 and all the documents reference to her unchanged name. Should I just leave everything alone? plus she has a tourist visa in her passport!!!
thanks..

Gator says on Jan 9, 2007, 21:04: NO She will be fine. She can't change the passport until she gets a new cedula but you can take the copy of the marriage certificate, notarized , to the passport agency and they will make a notation of her "new" name as an addendum to her passport. "Credidi pretio parvo emere et magno vendere tibi in animo fuisse!" . 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
