he gets to the trailer and then the mom takes him to his ex who is now a street hooker. then they go back to the trailer and start fighting and realizes she's not the girl he used to love, not to mention her hotness goes down about 60%. and then the guy goes back to new york to the mexican's doorstep and the movie ends.

the movie was really great till it got to the end which just ruined it for me. terrible ending.

Sorry Simon,

You can't be serious, "Great fokin movie?"

If you said, really, really good movie, I would not argue with that, but in now way is is a great movie by any stretch of the imagination.

Perro Come Perro is a far superior movie in many respects.

darkangel305,

I know what you're going through, had the same situation with the great little movie "La Vendedora de Rosas." Of which I purchased a bootleg copy in el Hueco. I don't know how it ends, but will wait to see it once I purchase a new copy on Amazon.com

As to your question, the movie ends with him breaking if off with his ex novia, and we are left to assume he started a new life in the USA, with his newfound love, only to live happily ever after. He walks away into the sunset, leaving the rest up to the viewer.

Simon, et al

Now, here's a great Colombian movie with no sicarios, no putas, no cocaine.... don't know if y'all saw it, but I would recommend it to those interested in Colombian cinema.

Te Busco (2002)
Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Ricardo Coral-Dorado, TE BUSCO tells the romantic tale of Gustavo (Robinson Diaz) and his attempt to win the heart of a beautiful singer named Jazmin. Gustavo is attractive, smart, and witty, yet too shy and insecure to approach the lovely songstress. He remains hopeless until his adorable five-year-old nephew, William, decides to take the matters into his own precocious hands, convincing Gustavo to form his own musical band and chase after the woman of his dreams. Hilarious and heartwarming, TE BUSCO was a box office hit in Colombia.

Med Traveller, we finally agree on something! I also thought 'Te Busco' was a nice movie. Robinson Diaz was really good in it and so was the little kid. I loved the music in it too, especially the classics 'Cariñito' and 'Besos de caramelo' by the late great Rodolfo Aycardi.

BTW, have you also seen 'Bolivar Soy Yo' with Robinson Diaz?
