Maybe it'll be up on the SOHO site in a few days. In the meantime, there is plenty of eye candy while you wait.

http://www.soho.com.co/Home.aspx

Caution, DWMTE, you have to certify that you're 18 years old because there are naked boobies on the site.

;-)

Update: I just noticed that SOHO is published by the same people that publish SEMANA and DINERO. Soft porn/lad magazines, money and politics ... what a combination.

Huskie....why bring Ingrid into this? You sound jealous ...and a little obsessed.

I was trying to see Yidis but SoHo kept showing somebody else every time I clicked on her name.

Soooooo.......who has decided that only beautiful people can take their clothes off???

Well. Desi, we are talking about the SOHO demographic here. They normally have beautiful models in that rag and she just seems out of place.

Desideria (Moderator) says on Jul 9, 2008, 12:53:

I know what you meant, I was just kidding you.
But....
the beautiful models of SoHo take off their clothes for money, right?
No, using this same line of reasoning...why shouldn't Yidis if the rag wanted to pay her for doing it?

droble77 says on Jul 9, 2008, 16:28:

I'll be laughed at for saying this but she probably wasn't that bad looking when she was 20. She's got the colombian booty, although the body is definitely past the expiration date, lol! :-))

I guess she figured she's got nothing else to lose. That spread might be her only payday for awhile. . .

ColombianoGringo says on Jul 9, 2008, 16:29:

Maybe that's your version of the Colombian booty, but it looks like an abomination to me. I like nice, tight Colombian booty.

ColombianoGringo says on Jul 9, 2008, 16:48:

Desideria (Moderator) says on Jul 10, 2008, 00:41:

CG. she's not young and she's not especially pretty. I read a little of the article too and she said that she would only show "the color of her skin" in the pics. There's nothing abominable in a human body, albeit getting a little thick, a little older. That's the nature's way, it will happen to you and your wife, your, mum and your dad, your sisters and your cousins....if you get to live thatlong. No implants are going to stop the aging process. You seem to have the commercilalized, hollywoodisized image of how people should look like.

Now, back to Yidis. That face, that body is the phenotype of the average mesoamerican woman. Like it or not, she represents the woman of the altiplano, with strong indigenous ascendence; women like are totally overrepresented in any small or middle-size town and city in Colombia's interior. Bogotá is full of these shorter, stockier women, with no neck and no waist. Their build is genetic, it has NOTHING to do with not getting exercise.

ColombianoGringo says on Jul 10, 2008, 08:10:

Actually Desi, my mom and her sisters are all trigueñas with a fair amount of native blood and are all at or over 50. None of them look the least bit like that, nor have they had In fact, my mother is 57 and is still a size six. My 86 year old grandmother doesn't look anything like that either. In fact, there are only two people in my entire family that are overweight. For that matter, almost no one in my wife's family is overweight and certainly none to that degree. They are also very common trigueño types. My perceptions of a healthy body image are based on reality, not Hollywood stereotypes.

Nobody expects Yidis to be tall and thin, but she certainly does not look like she takes care of herself in the least. Rolls of fat are not genetic and can be avoided with a reasonable diet and even minimal exercise. More importantly, she is repugnant as a person. She is an admitted criminally corrupt politician. She belongs in prison along with anyone else that was involved in the whole affair.

droble77 says on Jul 10, 2008, 08:43:

The problem CG is that there's so many corrupt politicians down there, they might as well just hold session in jail!

0 funny, 0 helpful.

Desideria (Moderator) says on Jul 10, 2008, 08:49:

The way your body looks like and if it tends to accumulate weight is hereditary in the highest degree. That your family does not have the fat gene does not mean that they take care of themselves better than other people Does your 57-year-old mum do pilates every week? Does your grandma work out atthe gym twice a week? Don't they eat the same sancocho and empanadas, just like their overweight neighbours?

Yes, unhealthy living and overeating can make you fat and are definitely a health problem, but that doesn't mean that every overweight person is an overeater and and a lazy bum. I believe that our weight is pretty much genetically determined from pont -9 months and during all our lifetime our bodies struggle to maintain the weight that they feel comfortable with. The western beauty ideal is of that of a teenage girl (Barbie) and very few adult women can maintain that body without starving, strenuous exerscise or surgical procedures. I think it's sick, all of it.

You and your family are lucky to have that thin body type that often results of the mix of different phenotypes. They probably walk a lot too and if they live in the south the climate itself contributes to keeping thin; the body does not need to store fat under skin to keep up the warmth. You also tend to have less of an appetite when it's hot and you don't need as many calories to warm up the body either.

Now about Yidis;
she has been made the scapegoat and and an example of what happens to a politician in Colombia who dares to go against the flow. Yes, she took bribes and so did a whole bunch of others ina very Colombian political tradition corrupt and disgusting as it is: I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine. She has been accused of all possible AFTER that, of being on cahoots with FARC, she has been humiliated, morally destroyed, sent to jail and the denied carcel al domicilio, I guess she doesn't have enough money, because mass murderers and heinous criminals in Colombia have been granted at least that. Not Yidis. I believe her only crime was to go public about a corrupt system and cause trouble to the Great Messiah.

Tinto (Moderator) says on Jul 10, 2008, 08:50:

On a more serious note, Yidis broke the law and is in jail, but isn't this scandal still traced back to Uribe and his fixers/goons?

0 funny, 0 helpful.

Desideria (Moderator) says on Jul 10, 2008, 09:18:

Yes, and Yidis was just one of the many who received favours for voting for Uribe's re-election. But the way they totally CRUSHED her for opening her mouth is disgusting.

Thanks. I haven't really followed the "Yidispolitica" but it seems like it was getting very close to Uribe. He went from goat to hero on July 2nd so he's got some breathing room for now.

If she needed money, why didn't she just set more people up for kidnapping? After all, that's her specialty.
