Colombian embassy in Canada told me I can only get in Colombia with roundtrip ticket, how strange since I've since posted otherwise.

zephyr1957 says on Jul 13, 2005, 12:03: thanks ... for your entries, I'm always wondering about those rigid rules created to sell more tickets. It doesn't make sense if one wants to visit 3 or 4 countries in an area.

terco panzone says on Jul 13, 2005, 21:11: All airlines in the US technically require a roundtrip ticket, to help insure you don't stay in the country illegaly. Some enforce this more than others. I've never had Delta say anything, but Continental and American have both stopped me before. Fortunately, I'm a merchant marine and exempt! ;o)
