teppar says on Mar 7, 2005, 22:53: but what does that mean.... that is kind of what i understood from the translators...but i'm just not really sure what that really really means....i think i'm being a bit thick today and not very poetic :)

YEP says on Mar 8, 2005, 05:13: Teppar let her seduce you and that "thickness" will go away ------------------------------------------------------------------- Just another scandinavian getting ready to explore South America |

Pirovito says on Mar 8, 2005, 05:42: HERE YOU GO!!!! That is not immaturity towards commitment, neither afraid of making that move (getting into a serious relationship). It is fear of discovering something within yourself that is unfulfilled.

teppar says on Mar 8, 2005, 05:54: i still don't get it... perhaps i am slow today but i still am not understanding things....

|
teppar says on Mar 8, 2005, 05:59: forget it... i think that i'm looking for answers you guys don't have...thanks for the translation help! i'll look for the philosophical help regarding the true meaning from the writer.

utopiacowboy says on Mar 8, 2005, 08:17: This whole thread's a mystery to me. Is this something from a romantic interest of yours? Why do you need help from us? I guess I'm a do it yourself kind of guy but even when my Spanish was non-existent (not that it's great now), I was not looking for help from strangers on how to communicate with my wife. Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. |
|
teppar says on Mar 8, 2005, 08:32: utopia.... no....i was just trying to figure out something a friend said to me and i wasn't understanding the nuances of language through the translators (as my Spanish is non-existant!). i thought that someone here could help, but i've realised through the process that it was the personal meaning this friend was writing that i needed explaining, not the actual meaning of the words...thats all

rash9000 says on Mar 8, 2005, 08:50: UC is right. Do as I have to do. I understand english 80%. I need to figure out what the other 20% means. Mastering this rule will help you get by.

utopiacowboy says on Mar 8, 2005, 14:41: Yes indeed, Rash9000, sometimes figuring out the other 20% is the best part! Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. |

N2Aquatix says on Mar 9, 2005, 06:36: 80/20 Boat I agree. I'm in the 80/20 boat myself. I usually use one of the free translation sites to help me with the rest, and then I say "Duh!!!" Afterwards, I am glad because I improved my espanol. ;-)
