makopp--reread the post as I don't believe it spelled out 2008! In 2006, the VERY recent past, several Newsmen were killed in Colombia and how many of the Perps were brought justice? "0" For the Victims and their families, its ALL real!

In August 2007, the Organization of American States' Office of the Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression reported that in the last** ten** years 83 journalists have been killed in Colombia

2006-COLOMBIAN Journalists Killed: Gustavo Rojas Gabalo, radio journalist, shot; Mariano Pérez Murga, and Francisco Bonilla Romero.

The only person who can resolve bringing to justice those who murdered all these News Reporters is Uribe--the Driving Force has to come from his Office! Uhh, I beleive we help the Colombians out quite a bit with Billions of Aid sent via Plan Colombia not to mention we let tons of products enter our Shores Tax Free. The least Uribe could do is allow our Products enter Colombia Tax free as we allow products from his country to enter the USA!
