On English television this week

On channel five tonight at 9PM is a documentary about someone who was captured by the FARC and next Friday on channel four is a documentary about Buenaventiura concentrating on its high murder rate. Enjoy.

I forgot that you have "English" television in Colombia, I remember watching the BBC news in Bogotá, sorry this is for viewing in Britain only.

Don't worry, you're not missing much.

I watched it last night. What a pack of savages! It was interesting to note that the naive, idealistic female guerilla, who showed him some kindness was roundly abused by the others and then promptly disappeared.

Yeah Kalder I was worried about her! I think they killed her for befriending him..

Tears came to my eyes when the red cross were there waiting for him and carried him into the ambulance.

That bit where they made him run into the jungle and listen out for the helicopter that was to rescue him and then leave him there waiting and making fun out of him, that was low.

So Kat you think it was a ransom? I thought it was because of him feigning prostate cancer, that was a good idea of his to ram the keys up his nose and pour the blood onto his trousers, I suppose your survival insticts kick in.
