We are always talking about the dollar to peso exchange rate around here. As many of you know, the TRM(sometimes TCRM - Tasa de Cambio Representativa del Mercado) is the official exchange rate that is update every weekday(non-holiday).
Most banks use this rate as the basis for the exchange rate you get on ATM withdrawals, credit card transactions, money transfers, etc
This rate is usually published on various websites, but it can sometimes be a pain to find the next day's rate. Portafolio.com.co and other sites sometimes publish it after market close, but not every day.
The site for Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia publishes the next days rate almost as soon as it is determined and can be very useful for deciding whether to wait until the next day for withdrawing money, etc.

For those that like to track the TRM, you can also download an Excel spreadsheet with TRM data from December 1991 to the present.
Peace,
CG
