He is obviously unstable and it sounds like he would like to kick me ass or something just because he doesn't like my posts.

Have you ever been in a bar drinking, laughing and having a good time with your friends and then have some drunk come up to the table all pissed off wondering why you are laughing at him. This is the kind of guy I think we are dealing with here. My posts and photos have absolutely nothing to do with him but he takes them are if they were directed right at him.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. Forget the FARC! It's the crazy gringos that go to Colombia that you have to worry about.

I thought he was setting himself up to be.. the "gentleman defender" of poor, naive, hotties in COL. He was doing OK, until he started w/ the "who's a bigger stud" routine. That kinda made him start looking like a hypocrite, because he can get young hotties, but gringo who are older can't. Still, he shouldn't feel he had to quit the board. We all have topics that we don't agree with and post our comments, no one is scoring who wins or lose on a debate.

So if you're outthere ML, come back, but lose the chip on the shoulder. Don't bail and take your toys home(fotos) just because you don't like the way a debate is going.

gringa-colombiana I haven't read this board for very long but someone who is more familiar with this board clued me in that mad_lion was in fact the infamous batman, a guy with a pretty checkered past in Cali.

Well I confronted him with the allegations and he just bailed out. Seems the informant was right and he (mad_lion, batman) just didn't want to deal with his past coming to light.

hmmm that is just weird are you sure about that? I never saw mad lion post anything offensive. Maybe we do need someone to monitor the IP addresses, if only to see if they are in the same region or something.

The PM option we have now is a blessing and a curse. I prefered offering my email in public, then I can block when an idiot abuses it.

I have some heavy doubts about the rumors of what happend here. As experienced host/manager of huge msn chatrooms I see a different pattern, there are more players involved than those we saw acting up. I could point at about six others who are inconsistent in their persona, and I could say at least 2 are running a double persona.

50% of those leaving a chatboard with announcements are drama queens dropping one persona. They are still here with a different persona. They also have experience on how to mask their IPs to hide the source they are using.

the mad_lion thread I read this morning while having my first coffee was a drama queen event ... he has a past ... no clue what that newbie was yakking about, because I assume that newbie is a new persona of a long time board member. batman forever ...

my recommendation for now ... if a thread starts stinking, avoid it ... it will die in its own stinking mess.

We are a strong group here with serious interests ... let's work together on killing trolls and personal vendettas. We have more important things to talk about - Colombia.

Agree Totally agree with Lionheart. This site is about Colombia and subjects related to Colombia. Some people are using the forum to get their 5 minutes of fame by being immature and selfish. It is up to us, responsible users, to put an end to those kinds of threads by ignoring them and not giving them the importance that they don't deserve.
