Great leap . . Don't want to urinate on your bonfire, but . . .if you don't even know the answer to your last question, don't you think it would be a good idea to get to know the country before seriously considering buying property there?

i think cartagena is a better choice as it attracts more tourists, specially foreigners.

i use to advocate colombia as a wonderful & quite safe place for tourist purposes. But going there for investments purposes without any reliable partner, without any knowledge of the country, trying to get some info from a travellers forum is a VERY BAD IDEA. Especillay in Cali or Medellin, where organized-criminality is quite "dynamic". If some rotten bastards know you have x usd to invest, you have a problem, right ?
