Nuqui- How is the security there?

Hi guys I want to know if Nuqui on the Pacific coast is fairly safe to visit.I would like to stay at the EL Cantil Ecolodge next time I visit Colombia again.I am Australian and my partner is originally from Bogota but now lives in Australia.We visited her family last year and I cant wait to go again as I really loved Colombia and its beutiful people and places.
