I tried to get in touch with some of these people while there and they immediately hung up on my wife. ( I felt my Spanish wasn't good enough to deal) Anyone have experience with dealing with Colombian coin collectors?

ColombiaBoard says on May 3, 2005, 07:52: Coins There´s a building called "La Bastilla" at the corner of Junin and La Playa, in the downtown area, across from the Coltejer building, the tallest building, go to the 6th floor, there are three good collectors up there, the best is Mr. White.

ColombiaBoard says on May 3, 2005, 08:01: Coins This guy Mr. White is one of the best collectors in the country, he´s kind of moody but also a nice guy. He has an excellent collection. There are good collectors in Bogota too. If you want you can pvt. me when you come next time and I´ll tell you where to go to find interesting coins.
