North Americans in Bogota

Does anyone have knowledge of a group of North Americans in Bogota that meet occassionally to discuss anything of interest. . . Or barring that, would any North Americans in Bogota like to get together in a private home in La Candelaria for a simmilar purpose. . .

Already thought of that. They put out such negative vibes about Colombia we hesitate to bother them. Thanks anyway.

Retiring to Bogota Thank you for your reply. My partner and me want to retire to Bogota (his hometown) at some time this year. He is going to try for his US citizenship first which will make travel easier later on.
What type of visa did you get? If you don't mind maybe you could share with me some of your experiences during the move etc. and with your documentation etc.
I would really appreciate any info you could pass along.
I have travelled to Bogota with him twice and found it really exciting and interesting.
Thanks again,

Try the Colombia Experts... ...website to see if you can get anything going there. I think there was a thread here recently about monthly meetings in Bogota. I kinda lost track. I plan on going to Bogota in December on a student visa for a year, and would be KEENLY interested in such plans. Contact me at gunn44 at ureach.com....thanks -gunner
