There doesn't seem to be much of a cultural distinction in Colombia between a woman that dances topless and one that sells her body for sex.

I have always wondered why that is the case. Wouldn't colombianos frequent a place where there were hot dancers but you couldn't buy them out right. Or is it the women that don't see much of a difference between dancing topless and jumping a guys bones for cash?

I have to say phoenix has some damn good looking strippers. My ex-wife made on average made about 500-600 hundred dollars on a Friday and Saturday and that was in 1986. Really good looking strippers in the states make so much money that most wouldn't put themselves through the prostitution gig.

Anyway my wife never turned any tricks as far as I know. Every time I went in to check on her she was at work dancing away.

I was just amazed at guys that would pay her $150 bucks an hour just to have her dance and talk to them. I mean these poor slobs would make appoinments with her weeks in advance.

Maybe Colombia just doesn't have the pussy worshipers that we have here in the states. hehehe!!

50 to 70 grand? Dude, that's chump change for a dancer. Most of them I know here in NYC want to make about 5 times that! And there's only one way you're gonna do THAT....

For the record I think that 98% number is pretty consistent from country to country, of course, taking into account things like many countries don't even have the concept of 'strip clubs' and those places are basically set up to be brothels.

In Canada back in the 80s we used to have a lot of 'mixed format' clubs where for example the strippers would work till 8pm or so and then the bands would play till closing.

In Bogota they had a lot of places in the southern entertainment districts advertising strippers that would come in and do a set for a normal crowd of people, that is, ones that were there to dance and drink and listen to live music etc and hook up with each other, and not necessarily come just for the stripper. I wonder how all the gf's took that :P I actually think a lot of places use it as a shill to attract male customers (maybe they already have too many female customers by comparison), I was at one place where supposedly the stripper didn't show because she just had her period (but I saw a great mariachi band!!)
