In today's Daily News here was a front page article about a plan of Al Quaedas to buy Colombian cocaine off of the guerillas and poison it. I find the whole thing dubious, but think of the ramifications of Al Quaeda and FARC and other groups like that hooking up across the globe. Would definitely make for some 'interesting times', no?

juanalejo says on Jul 27, 2005, 07:28: Drugs I have always thought that would be a good way of finishing the problem, but I highly doubt the FARC and AUC would give up their highest source of income. On the other hand as a last resource if they feel the pressure getting really strong it is a very viable solution. Now if I were the US government I would fake a poison being found to see how the prices and demand react.
