What, they have no computers in 'quilla? He could at least keep his friends here informed on his "progress".

My guess is that he's too drunk/hungover to type.

he seemed to plan on disappearing once he got to colombia. I know how to reach him there, and WILL look his injun ass up for a word of prayer, if he doesn't poke his head in PBH once in a while to say hi, and a chucha report, of course.

"he seemed to plan on disappearing once he got to colombia" why everybody disappears once they get to Colombia?... La Mona and Elmo should "inform" us how they're doing... =)

Elmo must be very busy preparing his "chucha" report.... LOL

Desideria (Moderator) says on Jan 29, 2008, 11:48:

Scotty it's chocha. (Except onthe Caribbean coast of Colombia) . It's "chocha" in Spain, too. "Chucha" in that sense is dialectal.
Elmo is in Barranquilla, La_Mona is in Cali, Pow_wow is a troll and UC had a meltdown.

ha !funny, JS had a meltdown. he'll probably be back.

first time i ever heard chocha was here on PBH, then last Saturday i was talking with a mexican friend and i said Chucha and he said , that is not correct the word is chocha with an O.
i didnt want to disagree with him after all he is the mexican dude and its his language so what the hell does a gringo know. chocha? chucha?

so when i said to him i want some chucha i told him i want some armpit smell? geez maybe i should consider taking a easier language like manderin chinese or somerthing?

JS farewell, what a joke!! jajajajajaja!!!!, I guess you don`t remember when he said goodbye last time, that he might come back as a woman, or blah ,blah blah, he came back soon after as" el rey de los trolls", then JS. I can not believe that everyone is so naive and thinking he is no enjoying all this and planing on his third of fourth troll name!

curramberochris says on Jan 31, 2008, 05:39:

I would also say chocho.
Anyone heard the champeta song....."mira, mira mi chocho bonito, mira mi chocho vacano"
hilarious.... nobody bats and eyelid when it's played on the bus, maybe the older people secretly love hearing dodgy songs about chocho

Desideria (Moderator) says on Jan 31, 2008, 05:47:

That's because "chocho" means an old. senile person. "Chochera" is slang for senility.

Curramberchris is a Champetuo. jajajaja bakano vale....

curramberochris says on Jan 31, 2008, 07:47:

that i did not know, thanks! I wouldn´t have guessed that from listening to the lyrics of the song!

Desideria (Moderator) says on Jan 31, 2008, 08:16:

There's no way of knowing without having put the words in the context. I don't know if the word "chocho" means that in the lyrics of that song. It's certainly a slang meaning of that word, that seeems to surface in every thread here now.
"Viejos chochos=old senile persons" ,"Tiene chochera" "He's turned senile"

Chucha =armpit body odour, opossum (dialect), female genitalia on the Caribbean coast (dialect)
Chocha=female genitalia (non-dialect, slang)
Chucho= Nickname for Jesus, a musical instrument
chocho= senile

It's not easy....

Strangely enough, I just had this discussion with my wife a few days ago. I was sitting in the bar at Hotel Caribe in Cartagena using the internet, when two Spaniards walked up with the worst case of chucha this side of the Atlantic, and that ain't the costeño meaning.
