It is the last metro station in Bello. Around the station is ok and you should have no problems, there is a large exito supermarket and you can get buses to go copacabana / girardota etc. The surrounding neighbourhoods are not too good and not the best place to be, I have been there several times during the day, but personally have never felt very safe in bello for some reason, people are nice enough but I think it is a bit of a dump.

I was there last december, and I thought it had changed so much from the last time I was there. Urban growth is taking place at a fast pace. There is a Exito and lots of new apatment blocs.

i am well familiar with that station... i lived several months on a finca in barbosa and traveled through the station on many occassions. too, years earlier, i had a very strange experience with a sicario family on the eastern hill side of bello, the 'universidad de los sicarios'.

as for the other poster, the feeling of nothing being quite right is pervasive in bello, because it is not. it is a really volatile local and one is well advised to avoid the place.

try trust on this one, all you pbh friends, bello is a place far better avoided.

Bello I went out in Bello one Weekend to go to some club. Felt kind of strange, as people didnt look that friendly and dressed rather ghetto like. I still had a great time as the music was good & I had good company. When commenting on the appearance of the other guests, my colombian friends told me, that its normal because they are more the "ladrones and sicario types".....most people at my university eafit would never go to such place, but it is an interesting experience and it would be pretty boring to just stay in Poblado, Parque Lleras!
