It's a company I know that is doing promotion in the US, Canada and the Caribbean for foreigners who want to come to Colombia and get plastic surgery. I think they offer everything they might need from recommending an english-speaking board certified doctor, giving the 5 main cities as an option (Cartagena, Barranquilla, Bogota, MEdellin and Cali), acommodations, nursing and home care, etc.

I don't know if the site is running yet but i know the company is in operation. Also if you need any personal advice on doctors in Colombia, especially in Medellin and Barranquilla where I live, feel free to ask. Wish you the best of luck.

Definately be sure to tell them to negotiate aggressively on the price. It may sound weird negotiating with a doctor about price, but in Latin America everything is negotiable. A large group like that should be able to get a huge discount. Have one of them go in alone first to negotiate the best price available for a single person. Have them tell the doctor that they will need to go home(hotel, whatever) and think about it because they are considering other doctors(have other surgeons names available for reference). There's a good chance they will offer an even better price on your way out the door to get an on the spot committment. Leave and then go back the next day and tell them that you have 3 friends that are thinking about getting the surgery also and negotiate the price down from the last offer you received.

Guess its basic negotiating stuff, but many don't think about it because medical ops are not usually negotiable here in the States.

what? This subject may have been talked to death here as you are saying but it hasnt been talked to death since i have been posting on and reading PHB. Its new to me, so just because maybe at one time you may have talked it to death I was not able to benifit from any talk on this subject.
Why should I have to do a search on every subject I am seeking info on. I am willing to bet that every subject from plastic surgery, to women of colombia, to hotels, to whatever has been discussed at one time or another on this site. so what is a poster supposed to do..a search before he ask a question on every subject? I dont think so.
