laloca says on May 29, 2007, 18:48: Not a Brothel !!!!!!! what is up with that cali mansion? if you guys are trying to make some extra income with the rooms, don't you think pictures of those can help or is it that the chicks come with the rooms. Gosh this is hilarious. I can understand you guys being in cali for 4 months and being overwhelmed with beauty but it will only be for so long. website needs a lot of work, a lot. I can probably give you better info than that of calimansion.

njtea5 says on May 30, 2007, 02:54: Hanging with two Gringos? Thats how you experience Cali? I mean it is so disappointing to hear that jumping off roofs into a pool with two Gringos is how someone would want to experience Cali. I can do that shit in San Francisco. I go to Cali to learn about my roots and other people should go not only to just party but learn about the Colombian culture. IT dude you have been there for 4 months have you even learned Spanish yet? Come on guy...

medefockinllin says on May 30, 2007, 06:48: Guys...what makes it a mansion as opposed to just a big house? I would like to understand why this word is used so liberally? I can understand that Medellin Mansion has a certain ring to it, but Cali Mansion is just blatantly plagiarizing no? Why not Casa Cali? I looked up mansion in wikipedia....your place doesn't quite seem to sit with the definition...is this not slightly misleading? For example, if I had a top floor apartment, could I honestly market it as a penthouse?

Miguel_Clavo says on May 30, 2007, 10:05: I am sure they are aware of the Medellin Mansion, and this was a marketing choice on the selection of the name and domain name....obviously they are trying to get the same clientele as AussieGreg...why else would they name it CaliMansion, which is real close to Medellin Mansion? if they didnt want people to think it was in the same type of business, why would they name it as such? No brainer..... "I would rather die living life, than to live a dying life."........ Oh, and my PM is always ON. Great Bumper Sticker: "Home of the Free, Because of the Brave" 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

EMAN says on May 30, 2007, 10:32: Miguel - I just came back from here and it is not the MM I wanted to get away for Memorial Day weekend and wanted to see what the Cali Mansion was. No prepagos and no hourly/nightly girls sitting in the living room. The guys are great and they have made a decision NOT to be like the MM. I would say a large majority of the guys coming to Colombia are looking for something like MM but some guys like me who are traveling solo want to hang out with some cool guys and meet there HOT friends!!

Anyone want to invest in Casa San Antonio? http://www.calirentals.net/ 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Miguel_Clavo says on May 30, 2007, 17:27: Eman...then maybe they need to come up with a new name and domain name.....all that is a dime a dozen....seems to me that they chose that name just for that reason....but, now they get the bad with the good, i guess....personally, i would change the name.....CaliBigHouse sounds like a prison..jajajaja....but like they say, even bad publicity is publicity, which is what new businesses strive for.....I dont doubt that is it like you say, however, i would suspect they had something to do with the timing of your post and the flack they are getting on PBH....now, it may be that they just need to rent the rooms out to help pay the cost of the place...more like rooms to share type thing, but "mansion" brings up other thoughts... "I would rather die living life, than to live a dying life."........ Oh, and my PM is always ON. Great Bumper Sticker: "Home of the Free, Because of the Brave" 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

medefockinllin says on May 31, 2007, 12:32: Itguy - do you have any basic concept of accounting? You mentioned that the money is used to support your lifestyle, so it's obviously not part of COGS. You have to pay tax on your net profits. I take it that you are registered as a business with the CdC? If not, an injunction can be taken out against you and your property.

itguy says on May 31, 2007, 13:08: Please freeze this thread Yes we are so drop it. I really have had enough of you medefockinllin. I understand this is a public forum and you can say what you want however I do have to ask why you feel the need to drill me with questions that frankly are none of your business. You are obviously not planning to stay in the house so I don't see why I should discuss our accounting practices on a public forum with you.
