Una muestra más del país del sagrado corazón. Y la verdad, me da pena ajena. No por que sea un artista famoso, o por que sea extranjero. (Me gustan algunas de sus canciones, pero no me mata) Sino por que es un simple mortal que necesita dormir, comer, estar tranquilo y prepararse para hacer su trabajo, y (oh¡ sorpresa) le niegan una cosa tan simple como una cama.

Si el señor manson hace destrozos, (que es el argumento que esgrime la persona que escribió el artículo) estoy mas que seguro, que tiene con que pagarlos. Más allá del "anticristo" o (como me divierte esto) "el hombre mas malo de norteamérica" hasta de pronto el tipo en su vida privada es otro mortal buenagente, con sus vainas como todos. Lo feo del asunto es que toda la controversia alrededor del hospedaje, hará que lo piense antes de volver y bogotá volverá a esa niebla del panorama de la música, donde pasan incongruencias como que APOCALYPTICA (siiiiii así como lo oyen) se presenten "de bacanes" en rock al parque (lo único que solicitaron fue la comida, y un lugar decente para dormir. . . y llovió como si se fuera a partir el mundo) y que VICENTE FERNANDEZ haga lleno completo en la plaza de toros y que no traigan a U2 por que "no hay gente que los vaya a ver". Y los nosotros, nos conformemos con ver dvds grabados en Bs As.

And then I read on vogue, I think, an interview with marilyn manson after his split with Dita von Teese, and apparently the guy is not only extremely well-read and traveled but his hotel rooms are usually exquisitely decorated everywhere he goes. En primer lugar los hoteles mas importantes pertenecen a cadenas internacionales, (Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, y lo que sea q termine en Inn, Hyatt, Sheraton, Caesars Park, Conrad, Four Seasons, etc). Aunque fuera el hotel mas barato de Bogota, si el dueño no los quiere recibir puede hacerlo por lo que se llama Derecho de Admisión.

Pero en segundo lugar...todo esto no es mas que una muy buena operación de publicidad para Marylin y su banda. De no haber ocurrido esto...¿Quien sabía que Marylin iba a estar en Bogota? ¿Alguien lo sabía? Esta misma operación era utilizada anteriormente por bandas como los Guns & Roses (salvando las distancias, los Gansos si q eran música).

Si no hay ruido...¿quien se entera? Imagino que en Bogota es tema de debate nacional, en todos y cada uno de los programas de TV hablando del Sr. Manson...Repito, si lo hubieran dado habitación, ¿estaríamos hablando de este Señor? Para nada. La única canción q conozco de él es un cover de un tema de los 80's I can't Get enough of you baby. Salvo por lo de baby bien le cabe a el título a él.

Capitan, tuve la suerte de presenciar a U2 el año pasado en Buenos Aires. Uno de los mejores conciertos a los q asistí. Cada vez q vea esos Dvds piense q Lucas estaba ahí saltando como loco.;) No entiendo como es eso de q no hay gente para hacer un show en Bogota. Si vinieron a Santiago de Chile, con el estadio medio vacío, ¿como no van a ir a Bogota, que musicalmente está muy por encima de Santiago? Tal vez los U2 no tienen un buen agente de estudio de mercado. En chile salieron perdiendo dinero. En Buenos Aires lo recobraron, dando un nuevo concierto en el cual Bono casi se queda afónico, y terminó "hablando" o "recitando" las últimas canciones. A pesar de esto...ver a U2 es una sensación única.

Like somebody said previously, it is all hype and publicity. So the Tequendama wouldn't take him or his entourage? It's all a set-up. They purposely sabotaged it so a few hotels wouldn't accept them as guests, then conveniently there happens to be a press release that "such and such" hotel(s) won't let M&M stay the night.
