goin_south says on Jun 9, 2007, 23:14: the USA should lay claim to that island ;) I'm quite sure, we could get enough people to go down to defend ('r....take it!) and then stay for awhile. Where do we go from here? 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

ColombianoGringo says on Jun 12, 2007, 14:54: Was there yesterday I was just in San Andres over the long weekend. We ended up staying at the Sol Caribe Campo which had a spectacular view from our room. Johnny Cay is also really nice. This was our first visit. We had a great time and will go continue to go whenever we can.

ColombianoGringo says on Jun 17, 2007, 06:33: That is Sol Caribe Campo That is almost exactly the view from our hotel room and balcony. We literally sat up in bed and that was the view we saw. The roofs in the foreground are the hotel rooms.

Jebediah says on Jun 17, 2007, 18:48: Sol Caribe Campo How much did this cost you? Also where abouts is it located in San Andres? My GF and i were looking at the Decameron Aquarium, as we are both Travel Agents from AUS, and can most likely get a good discount. We will be there just after Carnavales in Bquiilla so Feb 2008.

ColombianoGringo says on Jun 17, 2007, 20:36: We paid $2.200.000 for both of us. This included airfare from Bogota, three nights at the Sol Caribe Campo(all-inclusive) and all transfers, taxes etc. The Decamerons were maybe $50.000 more, but they are supposedly extremely crowded around this time of year.
