I have a very nice apartment available for rent in Cartagena, Colombia.
It is very cozy and nice, completely furnished and ready to live in. It is located on an upper floor of a building with a breath-taking view of the city and beaches. (beside the Cartagena Hilton ) It has a new AC, plus two ceiling fans, intercom, private phone line, two light systems in the living room for different ambience, stove, microwave, refrigerator; all the appliances and furniture are in excellent condition. It has one spacious bedroom with TV, VCR, stereo, one queen and a twin bed, plus a hammock, a double sofa bed, etc...
I am a Colombian/American and living in the USA right now. This apt. has mostly been used for familiy vacations and occasional rental. I take only US checks, money orders and PayPal. The rent can also be paid in Colombian pesos according to the current exchange rate.
Please take a look at the apartment in album # 1 at: http://photos.yahoo.com/rapi2000
Please email me rapi2000 at yahoo.com if you are interested in the apartment to check availabilities.

Wastelandlive says on May 2, 2006, 20:00: Miguel, I'll have you know that the Conquistador ... is one of the finest buildings in Cartagena. Why, the apartments almost rent themselves! I understand that the owners are VERY selective. Wasteland 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Miguel_Clavo says on May 2, 2006, 22:16: Other than the fact that you can rent some rooms by the hour? Not much....i stayed there with a friend that lives there, and the few nights i was there, i wish i hadnt....seems to be the preferred living place for coop LDV "personal engineers" and clients....not really a place i want my family to visit me at.....after all, i do have to maintain some kind of image, even if i only have friends in low places.....jejejejej... tomtom33 (☼Travelguide writer) says on May 3, 2006, 03:56: El Conquistador There is no other building anywhere near the Hilton that is 21 stories high. This building has had a very bad reputation. However, they are trying to clean it up. They have instituted a no guest policy. Of course that can cause problems if you want to bring a friend to your apartment.

Miguel_Clavo says on May 4, 2006, 16:20: Wow, i guess i must not be "in the know" with 18 trips to CTG over 3 1/2 years, but i do "know a hooker" when i see one....and the path from LDV to Conquistador is probably the most travelled path in Colombia....=)....Hookers with ID are still hookers, by the way...But maybe things have changed since November of 2005....it is possible, ya know...but then i am not the one trying to sell or rent something.....Oh, and R2000, i never said the hookers were leaving your tower or room..i am sure your is very nice....i was concerned about the "friendliness" of your neighbors...i just asked if yours was in the Conquistador..and i did stay in the Conquistador...if i had a dime for each hooker and his/her client, i could have retired years ago...=)....Hilton also keeps out the hookers by checking IDs...sure keeps them out!! uhh...yeah, right...$200/night doesnt bother alot of people, especially if their company is picking up the tab....
