NGO in Medellin

Hi, my husband and I are thinking of leaving New Zealand and coming to Colombia in 2006. My husband is from Medellin. While we are there (6 months - 1 year) we would like to work (paid or possibly volunteer) for an NGO / ONG ... ideally my husband would like to work with an organisation that needs psychologists (as he will be completing his masters and the experience would be ideal timing) ... my background is in communications - but as my Spanish is not fluent I would be open to less skilled work ... or work with an organisation that needs an English speaker. Can anyone help us with contact information for NGOs / organisations with offices / work in Medellin. UNHCR, Unicef, Habitat for Humanity, orphanages... you get the idea - open to all suggestions and would very much value any contact information - we are finding it difficult to obtain from New Zealand. Thanks.

Brazos Abiertos You could try an organisation called Brazos Abiertos (Open Arms) - it's run by an American evangelist missionary and rehabilitates street children in Medellin. www.brazosabiertos.net
