New Year's eve in Cartagena

I am spending the next 2 plus months in Cartagena and would like to know a good safe place to spend the New Year's eve in Cartagena. Also not so expensive.

Thanks guys, so far so good. What is the address for the La Dolce Vita? Don't need the female company. My wife will be with me. Any more comments will be appreciated. Thanks again.

hEY cHEWY,
I've spent New Years at Tu Candela and Mr. Babilla but honestly they weren't all that busy.
Most Cartageneros bring in the New Year by celebrating with the family and then after 12:00 they head out to the clubs and dance until dawn. When you walk the old city especially you'll see how families will set-up tables in the street and they'll be there all night eating and drinking.
I noticed you said cheap well its risky business being around cartagena at new years. Firstly, every body down there likes to bring in the new year with new clothes so right of-the-bat you'll be shopping with your girl even before the sun goes down on the 31st. And if you're really unlucky your girl is gonna be hit-on by the family to help out with everyone else's new clothes. Secondly, that's peak of the high season everyone is asking for prices that are ridiculous the guy selling the beers out of the cooler at the torre reloj he's even asking 2$ a beer. Thirdly, if you do manage to go to a nightclub count on every friend, family and aquaintance of your girl to be there waiting for you.... i ain't kidding this happens all the time and you can count on paying the bill at the end of the night.
My sincere recommendation is throw a party at your girls house spring for the beer and the sancocho and you'll have the cheapest new years possible and when they all wanna head out to the club disappear!! do EXACTLY what tomtom and morphus suggest sneak out alone and head to La Perla casino in laguito and slip next door and bring in the new year right!!!!
Remember, we're all in this together.

The taxis will probably know what you mean if you ask for Plaza de Reloj.

The proper name is Plaza De Los Coches, which is very fitting really.
