Is it true that there is a new shorter bus route from bogota to cartagena and it only takes 12hrs to get there? Seems like a really short time to cover such a large distance by land. Please inform me of this new route (road).
Thanks in advance

Gator says on Feb 20, 2008, 19:28: As far as I know only two ways from Bogotá/ Medellin/Ciencelejo over to Cartagena and the other through Bogotá/Buca/Cienaga/Barranquilla to Cartagena. Peope we know like the Bogotá/Cienaga route the best. Twenty hours about right. "Credidi pretio parvo emere et magno vendere tibi in animo fuisse!" . 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

jorgegdiaz says on Feb 21, 2008, 05:50: Yes Vic, but at least buses take the outside loop (anillo vial) so they don`t come into the city. They still have to deal with construction from Piedecuesta to Florida though. Democratic party or Republican party is fine......as long as theres a party!!!!!!! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

kat1 (Moderator) says on Feb 21, 2008, 06:30: hehe Jorge..well my mother told me about this, when were booking the return tickets from Cartagena, i was getting feed up travelling 20 hours by bus, and my mum wanted to avoid at all cost travelling by plane, she hates flying, but i gave her not alternative, so she told me about the discounts reluctantly, she also said Satena does the same.
