You can also see the new San Fernando mall amongst many other newer buildings which have been constructed in the past few years. I believe the last time the satellite images were updated for Medellin was in 2006 and if I'm not mistaken these latest photos were taken in May of 2008.

If you think Google Earth is "(bulky)" might I suggest you get out of the stone ages and purchase a newer, faster, more capable computer and then you'll be able to enjoy the added benefits of Google Earth versus the limitations of Google Maps images. Might I also recommend you shop at the new Euro market near La Frontera instead of Carrefour. It is there you will be able to save your pennies so you can, hopefully someday, buy an up to date computer and then donate your old one to a local school or charity in Colombia which, I'm positive, would be greatly appreciative of your generosity. Just a suggestion of course.

"slow to understand" ... And by the way, for what it's worth, I rarely drink alcohol and when I do I don't drink to excess so a hangover is never an issue. And to you Brians: Not in a bad mood at all my fellow pbh'er simply know I don't appreciate those who engage in faceless pettifogging like Pbs who all too often feels compelled, for whatever reason, to distract from the OP and contribute his less than useless dribble and often hijacking the OP (you would need to understand the history of comments, both mine and Pbss' to understand my comments above).
