Escape Artist says on Apr 5, 2009, 16:50: You can also see the new San Fernando mall amongst many other newer buildings which have been constructed in the past few years. I believe the last time the satellite images were updated for Medellin was in 2006 and if I'm not mistaken these latest photos were taken in May of 2008. EA 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Escape Artist says on Apr 5, 2009, 22:40: If you think Google Earth is "(bulky)" might I suggest you get out of the stone ages and purchase a newer, faster, more capable computer and then you'll be able to enjoy the added benefits of Google Earth versus the limitations of Google Maps images. Might I also recommend you shop at the new Euro market near La Frontera instead of Carrefour. It is there you will be able to save your pennies so you can, hopefully someday, buy an up to date computer and then donate your old one to a local school or charity in Colombia which, I'm positive, would be greatly appreciative of your generosity. Just a suggestion of course. EA 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Escape Artist says on Apr 6, 2009, 07:37: Pbs: Please don't be so quick to call me "dude" (Definition: As an interjection, a short, clipped "dude!" might be used to convey annoyance with someone) since in reality I'm the one who should be annoyed with you, the one who jumped my shit on another post ( http://poorbuthappy.com/colombia/post/how-much-to-pay-for-an-apartment... ) when I simply made a perfectly appropriate and non flaming comment directed to another pbh member when you so quickly, and inappropriately, jumped in to add your two worthless cents. Your handle here on pbh fits you well... Poorbutsnappy. One would only need to look at the history of comments, both mine and yours, to determine who is the "quick to judge" ... "quick to anger" ... "slow to understand" ... Do your homework, and do it completely, before making assumptions about me since it is you who are all too quick to call names and even quicker to flame with the intent of disrupting what should be a great informational site on Colombia. And by the way, for what it's worth, I rarely drink alcohol and when I do I don't drink to excess so a hangover is never an issue. You may have the last words as I'm quite sure it will give you great pleasure in attempting to build your self esteem in this faceless forum. (BTW this isn't my first rodeo here on pbh).
