New feature: email when someone comments

We have a new feature today: when someone comments on a post of yours, you get an email. It's mostly meant for the posters that don't visit the site every day :)

You can easily turn it off, click on "my account" (at the top right).

Let me know what you think!

Great idea! It would be cool if there was a button to watch any thread.

good idea but I will turn it off because I do not want to receive an e-mail every 5 minutes when tasco or his clones will comment my posts

I would like to be able to customize the list of posts. In particular, I would like to be able to delete posts (from my view) that are totally uninteresting for me. That would leave me with a much more manageable list of the more interesting ones. At the moment it is hard work to keep looking through the list to remind myself of the various posts I am interested in following - not only for new comments, but also to revisit and study more closely. Ideally I would have the option of seeing the full list in case I wanted to change my selections.
This idea of customizing could clearly be taken a lot further so I won't say more just now.

As Peter mentioned, you can turn this option off in your profile. However, it might be nice to add an option to turn it on/off for each post and make this option available to any member who wants to follow a given post. Maybe this could be added in a future update.
