We have a new feature today: when someone comments on a post of yours, you get an email. It's mostly meant for the posters that don't visit the site every day :)
You can easily turn it off, click on "my account" (at the top right).
Let me know what you think!

Peter (Moderator) (Trustee board) (Dev team) (☼Travelguide writer) says on Nov 26, 2008, 12:34: It's too late for me to add that tonight, gotta get some sleep later on. But it's a good idea, if people are ok with the emails (perhaps everyone hates it?) I might add the ability to do it on a per-post basis later. Poor but snappy 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

tabla says on Nov 26, 2008, 16:58: I would like to be able to customize the list of posts. In particular, I would like to be able to delete posts (from my view) that are totally uninteresting for me. That would leave me with a much more manageable list of the more interesting ones. At the moment it is hard work to keep looking through the list to remind myself of the various posts I am interested in following - not only for new comments, but also to revisit and study more closely. Ideally I would have the option of seeing the full list in case I wanted to change my selections.

ColombianoGringo (Moderator) (Trustee board) says on Nov 26, 2008, 22:31: As Peter mentioned, you can turn this option off in your profile. However, it might be nice to add an option to turn it on/off for each post and make this option available to any member who wants to follow a given post. Maybe this could be added in a future update.
