Chery QQ, Hafei Minyi y Chana, el primero automóvil particular, y los otros dos, utilitarios. El presidente de la importadora, Eduardo Sardi, anunció que el precio del Chery QQ será de $23.9 millones, mientras que el Hafei Minyi costará $30 millones.

The guy that brings them is the sameone who brougth the Daewood car from Corea, the headquarter is in Cali.

Tata makes some Korean cars under license. Not bad little cars really. Renault is supposed to be launching a car in Europe priced to sell for under $7000 USD, no frills of course, but I think it will find its way to Colombia too.

All I want is a Renault 4 and a Hindustani Ambassador, I can work on them myself!

I wonder how many Americans realise that the engine in their Chevy Tahoe SUV is from China?

Renault Will be curious to see the new Renault. The ones they are selling now have one of the best warranties years/Kilometers. Was looking at new cars and was told by two different people to "Wait until December" because the Govt was going to lower the prices. ALSO heard the Govt is lifting is ban on importing USED cars but again, just a rumor.

Logan The new Renault is going to be called the Logan and for the time being it is only going to be built in two Renault plants around the world, the Turkey plant and the Envigado plant. The Colombian version will be exported for all the Latinamerican countries, and I have seen the car in trials already.

SOFASA S.A. www.sofasa.com.co It not only produces Renault products but also some Toyota 4x4 and Daihatsu trucks. These two last brands will probably not be produced for much longer as Renault is now interested in producing Nissan as they now own the brand. Toyota has moved some of its Colombian production to Venezuela but they are still keeping their space busy in the plant with the Daihatsu trucks, in my opinion to try and delay and eventual production of Nissan products. Toyota knows they are kings when it comes to 4x4 in Colombia and they do not want to loose that space to Nissan.
