need a tuba

I have a small tuba, and am wondering if I can take that on a plane....or...if there's any kind of place to buy a used horn in Bogota. I"ll be going there in early July. Any advice? Thanks....zlateh at hotmail.com

I doubt they will let you take it on the plane with you seeing as its a large chunk of metal. If they do let you take it on..they might request that you play it first, to ensure it is a genuine tuba and not a bomb. So be prepared to rock the airport with your tuba playing.
