PBH / colombia (travelguide, pictures) / post |
I want to bring my daughter with me to Barranquilla. I kinda just want someone to be an extra pair of hands while I'm there. I'm a single mom, so bringing dad is not an option.
anyone know where I should look? Who can I call? And screw that dammed overpriced Au Pair service.
thanks

Desideria (Moderator) says on May 30, 2006, 00:02: I'm sure that there are a lot of extra hands to help you in Barranquilla. If you have family or friends turn to them for advice in this matter. Another option: use an accredited employment agency. Thhird option: place an ad in The Herald. You will have to screen the applicants very carefully and ask for both laboral and personal references and check them out. Look for someone that your family (if you have family there)knows. About the price, don't worry about it. It is not that expensive.
