Name of Song?

For the life of me I can't find a reggaeton song that I heard all the time while in Colombia recently. Any ideas? I don't know any of the words and someone mentioned Daddy Yankee but I've listened to tons of his songs online and haven't found it yet. I already found the Juanes and Jorge Celedon songs, now I just need this one. I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure it out. Sorry for not giving you much to go on, other than it is a very popular reggaeton song right now. All I can remember is the beat. haha

So you don't remember even a single lyric? How about Wisin and Yandel with Sexy Movimiento? Don Omar with Ayer La Vi?

I just listened to those two and it is neither one. Crap! The song I'm thinking of is very upbeat, a good dance song although I was told you wouldn't salsa.

I believe it is just one guy. Surely I would have noticed if it were more. ha. And from what I gather, the beat is pretty typical of that type of music. da, Da Da, da, Da. Which I'm sure, makes no sense at all. :)

travelingirl says on Dec 6, 2007, 20:50:

No Dish or Direct TV. Although I did run across some music channels on my cable tv (black screen). I should scroll thru them and see what I can find. The only Spanish language on the radio here is Mexican music, and not the cool reggaeton stuff. Yes, living in the US.

john_stark says on Dec 6, 2007, 20:56:

Yes, some cable systems will have them as well. A lot of times the channel will be listed as Tropical but it will include a mix of salsa, merengue, reggaeton etc.

There's no Spanish Pop station? Hell even the Mexicans listen to reggaeton. There won't be a lot but there will be some. Good way to practice your Spanish too.

Mitch, I still haven't found the reggaeton song I was crazy about. :( But I think I get some music channels thru my cable provider. I should check them out. Not sure if I'm patient enough to sit there and listen to songs for days on end, trying to find that one I'm looking for. Send me the sites for some Colombian stations that play reggaeton when you have the chance.

NONE. Crazy, I know. I even asked my friend back in Bogota but he doesn't remember the words or anything either. He just keeps claiming that it is Daddy Yankee because that's who this one chick said it was at a bar we were at. However, I think if it was Daddy Yankee I would have heard it by now since I've listened to all of his popular songs online.

Hey travelingirl, you may want to just listen to some radio stations on the Internet while you're on PBH. Maybe one of them will play the song.

For example, there's a Houston station - Mega101 - that has live streaming (mega101fm.com).

I'm sure there are plenty of other stations that others could recommend.
