My Stay at the Cali Mansion

I wanted to get away for Memorial Day weekend and have previously been to Colombia 5 times in 18 months. I mostly had stayed in Medellin but had visited Cartagena, Cali(only 1 night), and Eje Cafetero.

As I had only spent 1 night in Cali for Feria De Cali, I wanted to see what Cali was all about but I did not know anyone in Cali and decided to check out the Cali Mansion and see what it is all about.

I contacted Simon and he promptly got back to me and organized a room and driver to pick me up. He personally came with the driver to pick me up.

The house is in Ciudad De Jardin – which is in the South and it looks like any VERY affluent neighborhood anywhere in the States.

Let me set the record straight, this house is not a WHORESHOUSE and there are not girls in the living room to rent for the hour/night. They are NOT connected with the
Medellin Mansion or any other group. If anyone wants that type of situation, there are many avenues to get that and you don’t need the guys at the Cali Mansion to get that for you.

I was traveling alone and I wanted to meet great people and have a great time. Wherever the guys were going, they included me in and if I needed something there Cel phones were always on to help. They have a great group of friends, including some great girls – not PREPAGOS and not girls that are on first name basis with WESTERN UNION.

Yes, their Website could use some work but I have been to there place and met these guys and these guys have your best interest at heart!

I had met a nice girl who would not go out alone with a GRINGO, so Simon who was tired and his girlfriend who was extremely sick chaperoned us as I was dying to go out with this girl. I wanted to send flowers to this girls and asked Simon to arrange this, he said give him $5.00. I have sent lots of flowers to girls in Colombia and have always paid the GRINGO price – anywhere from $30 and up. She received the flowers yesterday and I scored HUGE brownie points. She showed me the flowers on Webcam and they were as nicer then any flowers I have purchased for girls in Colombia.

If there are any questions I can answer, please ask. I had seen the Cali Mansion a few weeks back and felt I need to personally see what it was and I found out it is GREAT PLACE and I will be returning for July 4th weekend!!!!
