Yes. I got married in a civil ceremony and then we had a church wedding a couple of days later. Of course you can always just do the church wedding and get it registered with the notaria later.

Were you guys able to have a full on Catholic wedding with a mass, or was it a "blessing ceremony"?
We already married in San Andres, but she wants the big wedding early next year.

Catholic wedding with a Mass. As far as my wife's family is concerned you're not really married until you have the church wedding.

Hello,
We had a church wedding in Bogota on a Thursday night then flew to San Andres and was married there by the magistrate. Tthe Church wedding we celebrate with large family and consider that date for Anniversary. But for Visa papers the day we were married at notary is for documents.................

"And to be honest, today is my second anniversary and I'm about to blow a mother-fucking fuse. I think I broke another knuckle about an hour ago and the damned ice isn't helping."

Why are you blowing fuses? Mario?

When you feel like you're about to lose self-control...take a deep breath and go for a walk...so you can think "aloud", without worrying about hurting your family emotionally. Having temper-tantrums or punching things or people (because you are frustrated) solves absolutely nothing, Mario. You know better.

"Got anymore advice there critter, like what I should do about the crew-slut in Bogota?" You're correct...I have no idea what you are talking about or what you are going through right now, but there are still better (less self-destructive) ways to handle stressful situations. I only hope you didn't do any permanent damage to your hand (would be a shame, given the fact that you're a musician). In fact, you kinda remind of "The Boss" in that pic you now have displayed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thats the Story I like to hear "She and her mother paid for the Church wedding." When I was married in 1991, my Wife(mexico) payed for the Priest, the Mariachi Band(who played in the church and the reception) She also tipped the Spanish priest who married us. Not to mention , she payed for the shipping of all her household items from Mexico to Florida as well as her Plane Ticket to florida to get married. We split ALL the household expenses(gas, water, food, condo maintenence, cable, taxes 50/50 right down the middle!

"Wait a minute. What did you just say? You're predicting $4-a-gallon gas? That's interesting. I hadn't heard that." -- Feb. 28, 2008 --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C.

I got the price for the dress yesterday. I was expecting 2k-5k. It's only $500,000, cheap! She said it's a super dress. She even asked if that was too much. Wow!
