PBH / colombia (travelguide, pictures) / post |

I was in cucunubá and there were schoolkids everywhere. I asked if I could take some pictures and of course they were all for it. So I started taking some pictures and showing them the results on the tiny screen of my camera. More and more kids gathered and asked me to take their photos, eventually there were maybe 35 kids gathered around.
I took a few group shots and then showed them how I could zoom in on each person in the photo. They LOVED that and yelled out each child's name as I zoomed in, laughing at the ones who made faces or whatever. All very good naturedly.
After taking about 100 photos I got tired of the game and went back to the bus, but these kids followed me, asking me to take more photos. I was saying no, no more, but as I sat in my bus seat looking down at them the light looked just right so I quickly snapped one last photo as the bus pulled away, which turned out to be the best of all and my favourite photo.
