mY Colombiana

My Girlfriends parents have agreed to let us go on a vacation alone. We are planning to travel to Panama. She recently checked with a travel service and for her to travel to Panama she needs to pay $1000.00. It seems to me to be a bit expensive. Any opinions or facts would help.Thanks.

Travelling from where?? If you are travelling from Colombia, there are daily direct flights from Bogota',Medellin and Cali on Copa airlines. The flight is about an hour but the cost is between $325 and $500, depending on the time of year, how many seats are available, and how far in advance you are purchasing the ticket. From the US, the flight is typically between $350 and $700, again, depending on how many seats are available, time of year, and how far advanced you are buying the ticket. You can get approximate prices at two sites:
www.expedia.com and www.travelocity.com.
