My Bogota first impressions

Generaly, the people are friendly but less so then I expected. Everybody is doing their bussiness, and they dont seem to care much that I am gringo.

The women are beautifull, but not much more so than in Belgium, they might dress more attractive. The one girl that copied my lonely planet for 9000 Peso (3 euro) flirted with me by keeping laughing and looking me strait in the eye, and she even winked. I could feel my cheecks reddening :)

The food is VERY good if you go to a good restaurant, I went to de casa vieja, which was recommend in Peter guide, I can also recommend it, it must have been the best steak I have ever eaten.

Platypus is also great, Herman is indead really cool and the atmosfere is right more so because of the attitude of the personel then that of the visiters.

Just one question, will the people of the other places in colombia be more friendly?

Bogotanos are a bit cool and detached. People in Medellin, Pereira, Manizales, Armenia, are much more friendly.
