Hi Everyone,
I want to thank all of the users of this site. You've contributed some great material as well as helped me out a lot. I'm a foreigner but I live in Bogota since August and have written a blog about my experiences here: www.lifeofbrett.com
I am open to any comments as I enjoy learning from you all. Thank you all again, and keep it up!

RickD says on Nov 23, 2007, 19:21: Nice Blog, Brett. I just came back from my first visit to Bogota over the Veterans’ day holiday. What an amazing city. I only had four days so there was much that I did not have time to see. I can’t wait to go back again. It does help that I went there to meet an amazing lady.

Simon says on Nov 23, 2007, 19:23: It's never too late to write a novel, Rick. I read about some guy in his nineties who had his first novel published recently. You go for it! "Tu vas a ver, llegaras a mi edad y veras que Colombia seguira igual"-----Simon Sr. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Buongone says on Nov 24, 2007, 02:01: Very well done. Nice pictures. Loved reading about Aspen. Brought back some old memories. The pictures from/of Monserett are good. Cannot believe you walked up/dn that Mt. Better shape than me I do suppose. I like the view of the garden when you 1st start the tram ride. Nice Blog.

Medellin Traveler says on Nov 24, 2007, 06:52: Nice job. I see you spent some time in my hometown. I always wondered how the rich folks lived in the Gold Coast (estrata 10). Is it anything like living amongst the working-class population? :) "Huevos Rancheros en Medellin, No Quiero Taco Bell." - www.medellintraveler.com 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Medellin Traveler says on Nov 24, 2007, 16:23: I was being facetious, "The Gold Coast" in Chicago is DEFINITELY above estrato 5, we don't use estrato system in the US "Huevos Rancheros en Medellin, No Quiero Taco Bell." - www.medellintraveler.com 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

garga41 says on Nov 25, 2007, 19:18: Yeah, I lived in the Gold Coast back when I had some savings to spend... not that many parts of Chapinero are for the common folk, but it's a big gap from Chicago.
