My Bogota Blog

Hi Everyone,
I want to thank all of the users of this site. You've contributed some great material as well as helped me out a lot. I'm a foreigner but I live in Bogota since August and have written a blog about my experiences here: www.lifeofbrett.com
I am open to any comments as I enjoy learning from you all. Thank you all again, and keep it up!

I love your blog, man. I'm glad you're enjoying living in our country (unlike others who post on here). Keep on spreading the good word about Colombia. Take care.

Nice Blog, Brett. I just came back from my first visit to Bogota over the Veterans’ day holiday. What an amazing city. I only had four days so there was much that I did not have time to see. I can’t wait to go back again. It does help that I went there to meet an amazing lady.

I am starting my writing career a little later in life (at 51). My first novel will be my thesis for a MFA in Creative Writing through National University (online). I need the discipline of an academic environment to keep me writing while working full time. Plus, the feedback is a great help. Keep writing and keep blogging from Bogota. I enjoy reading your blog.

It's never too late to write a novel, Rick. I read about some guy in his nineties who had his first novel published recently. You go for it!

Very well done. Nice pictures. Loved reading about Aspen. Brought back some old memories. The pictures from/of Monserett are good. Cannot believe you walked up/dn that Mt. Better shape than me I do suppose. I like the view of the garden when you 1st start the tram ride. Nice Blog.

Nice job. I see you spent some time in my hometown. I always wondered how the rich folks lived in the Gold Coast (estrata 10). Is it anything like living amongst the working-class population? :)

Keep up the good work.

I was being facetious, "The Gold Coast" in Chicago is DEFINITELY above estrato 5, we don't use estrato system in the US

Yeah, I lived in the Gold Coast back when I had some savings to spend... not that many parts of Chapinero are for the common folk, but it's a big gap from Chicago.
Anyhow, both cities are great... the longer I live in Bogota the more and more I like it. Thank you all for checking out my blog and keep writing and adding your feedback.

Know nothing about Chicago-thought you were speaking about Colombia
