Multi-City trip....Best way to book it??

I will be going in December from MIA to cali - Cali to Cartagena - Cartagena a MIA. Whats the best way to book? Should I wait until I get to Cali to book a ticket to go a Cartagena on the 26th of December? Or should I book beforehand from the states? Is it cheaper to do it from Colombia?

I have never flown Avianca - what are everyone's opinion about them? From searching sidestep and orbitz, they seem to have the cheapest multi-trip price - quoted $878 for the two destinations during the height of the holiday.

Any help is appreciated!

I did a multi leg trip like that from Arizona, LAX, Pittsburgh, Cali, Cartagena and I did it through travelocity and it was much cheaper than any other way I tried to piece it together.

Although many times Avianca has promotional prices in effect, make sure you check the total price because the taxes and other things cost amost as much or more than the actual ticket price!

Check on Avianca's website for the same itinerary that you saw on Sidestep and Orbitz; they might have it cheaper.

Search on all thsoe website for a multi city trip including all the itinerary.

Also, do a search for a multi city trip from MIA to CLO and then CTG to MIA. And seperately check on avianca.com and aire.aero for the national flights.

Do be aware that since you will be staying a bit in Cali ( I assume) that you now have a broken legged trip and will have to abide by the internal luggage restrictions. This may or may not affect you.
