Moving to Cartagena

I will be moving to Cartagena in April and need a recommendation for an inexpensive hotel while I look for an inexpensive apartment. I would appreciate your advice on a hotel for 10-25 a day and appartments for around $350. Also, I will be bringing my computer, its 2 monitors and my laptop, which I use to monitor my investments. No commercial use at all. Any thoughts about that? Thanks.
