What are CURRENT APPROXIMATE rates PER MONTH, for UNLIMITED INTERNET ACCESS? Dial-up? Dsl? Residential, unlimited usage? in the medium-sized cities of Colombia?
I did a search here, and there seems to be much variance, or at least variance of reporting.
But, it looks like $30-$40/month (USD) would be a good averge to expect for unlimited monthly residential DSL? Can anyone confirm this? and, for dial-up?
Thanks for the help.

MacGringo says on Nov 17, 2005, 11:39: Sorry GringoDeLo, I know the question was for costs of internet in Colombia. This is what I pay in Britain , I just thought it would be relevant because someone had mentioned that the prices vary in different countries and that in France it was quite cheap. GBP is British Pounds mate.

JohnD123 says on Jan 2, 2006, 15:34: I just got the 512 kbps cable modem service from the Pereira telephone company. I assumed this was the best they have. It costs appx 300,000 per month (6 times more per kb then what i was paying in the States), and its a 1 year contract. They came out and ran a cable line from the telephone poll into my bedroom and hooked up the cable modem. Without much to do, it was connected and working.
